Back in March we hipped you to the fact that the somewhat indescribable UK band Everything Everything were hitting the musical road with The Joy Formidable in support of their new album, Get To Heaven. So, of course, we wanted to be at one of their two Los Angeles dates! Night #2 at The Roxy was off the wall in that good way because there’s no linear sonic path for Everything Everything’s iteration of rock. It’s the quartet’s schizo fusion of guitars, electronics, spit fire lyrics, quirky song structures, expansive sound, and ingrained weirdness (along with their penchant for matching outfits) that make it all so damned good.
