New Album, New Tour: Everything Everything

British band Everything Everything may be a little difficult to place in a genre-box, so it’s just simpler – not to mention much more apropos – to just call them one of the UK’s most innovative bands. Their latest album, the critically acclaimed Get To Heaven, was released on February 26th and not long afterwards comes a 15-date North American tour with The Joy Formidable in support of Get To Heaven, which offers them the chance – not only showcase the live aspect of the music – but to discover America.

Release Date: February 26, 2015

“Meeting more Americans!” was the enthusiastic reply when asked what they were looking forward to on the tour. “So much of our media and entertainment is American and yet we hardly ever get to talk to real ones. Also, really looking forward to seeing the landscape; hopefully we’ll get some time to go on a road trip somewhere.”

While having been compared to the Talking Heads, the band describes their live show as, “…really intense and ridiculous.” Needless to say, Everything Everything is excited to electrify audiences around the country on stages, hopefully, in a city near you. After spending a week in Austin, TX at South By Southwest music festival (March 16-19), the tour kicks off on March 28th with two dates at The Roxy in Los Angeles.
