As a photographer in Los Angeles, I go to a lot of shows and easily some of the best performers in the LA music scene are the electro-pop-dance duo of Gabby Bianco and Jason Rosen who make up Smoke Season.
Their show at the Teragram Ballroom was described by the band as their “biggest LA show ever.” Perhaps it was because Dean Passarella of Wolf Bay joined Gabby and Jason for the whole set or that they included a drummer, horn section, and back up harmonies – which, at one point, found Jason acting as choir director. Or perhaps it was the personal significance that Gabby wrote about on social media regarding the date of the show: October 18th.
Whatever the reason, the end result was an epic performance that Smoke Season can be proud of and that all in attendance aren’t likely to forget.
