On this second day of July, three very specific moments occurred during It’s A School Night at Bardot in Hollywood:
- LA-by-way-of-Las Vegas songstress Kat Meoz played a set of all new and richly amped rocking songs while host, Chris Douridas, ensured proper pronunciation of her last name: May-ohz. Sound it out, folks.
- The Voice alumni Dylan Dunlap shouted out his parents in the room as he snuck in one last hometown LA show before running away on tour with One Republic.
- Celestial and extraterrestrial rockers DRAEMINGS descended upon Hollywood to play Bardot for the first time. Wardrobe issues only served to highlight the importance of band teamwork and accented the humble charm of frontwoman Kimi Recor.
Thanks to It’s A School Night and Bardot, Monday nights continue to be one of Los Angeles’ sure thing event nights where up and coming, as well as established artists, get to be showcased.
