#TourHappens With…The Soft White Sixties

After many years together, the members of The Soft White Sixties have rarely sat still. They’ve lived much of their life in a 15-passenger van, traversing the country, whipping up new riffs, new rhythms, new lyrics and then, almost immediately, breaking them out onstage. For these hard-working musicians, it was simply a way of life. Seven years into their career, they collectively packed up their belongings and headed into a new adventure, relocating from their Bay Area homestead to the bright lights of Los Angeles.”

While a very brief and press release-style synopsis of the life of a hard-working band, it’s also a most realistic capture of who Octavio Genera, Aaron Eisenberg (guitar), Joey Bustos (drums), Ryan Noble (bass), and Rob Fidel (guitar/keys) – as the Soft White Sixties – are. Having made the move to Los Angeles (a city that has always appreciated their presence), the five-piece is continuing to expand upon their retro soul sound that is a mix of classic R&B and pop with groove on its edges and some good, old fashioned rock n roll thrown in.

Half the battle of being a musician is being on tour and that’s exactly what the Soft White Sixties are up to: On 10/26, these smooth dudes hit the road in order to make some good noise with Dan Luke And The Raid. Yes, tour life can be fun, but it’s also hard work so the Soft White Sixties gave us a few of their tried and true tips for life on the road because tour happens…
