Friday the 13th: Unlucky for some, but anyone in attendance at Andrew W.K.’s sold out show at Warsaw in Brooklyn, NY was in for a treat as he blew the roof off, not only the venue, but pretty much any building in the surrounding areas of Brooklyn. Aptly called The Party Never Dies Tour (his first full band tour in five years), crowd surfing was in effect as the incredible musicianship of the seven member band thrashed and played through a monster party setlist. With his brand new Taco Guitar in tow (courtesy of ESP Guitars and – of course – in honor of National Taco Day) highlights of the show were truly never ending as each song fed the hungry masses, but considering that it was a touch down in New York City, the most satisfying meal was dished out was “I Love New York City.”
