Back in July, the independent Los Angeles promoters Spaceland Presents announced the inaugural Spaceland Block Party taking place September 16-17 in a downtown LA warehouse space. Yes, another musical addition to an already jam packed festival month, but with a lineup featuring Joey Bada$$, Vic Mensa, the Horrors, Highly Suspect, Black Kids, Betty Who, Wavves and more, we weren’t mad at it.
Freshly announced comes an extended lineup as well as a venue change: the dynamic Bishop Briggs, groovalicious Tuxedo and Gabriel Garzon-Montano have been added to the weekend festivities along with Two Feet, PALM, Ella Vos, Matt Maeson, Sudan Archives, D.A.N.C.E., Ham on Everything and Bananas. It’s a solid mix of rock, funk, hip hop, indie, electronic, DJs…a little something for everyone.
Venue change: Union Station. We’re not mad at this, either. Party on, Los Angeles.
Single-Day & Single-Day VIP passes, Weekend & Weekend VIP passes available.
