“Baby I’m Broken” By The Record Company

The Who: The Record Company (Los Angeles, CA)

The What: Purveyors of rock n’ roll that nails that sweet spot where beer-chased Delta blues, raw electric soul and a fresh, reverent generation meet to carry on the torch: thy name is The Record Company.

Since their 2011 inception as The Record Company in a Los Angeles living room, the trio has left a hell of a musical mark, touring long and hard with the likes of BB King, Blackberry Smoke, Trombone Shorty and more, absolutely slaying fans and newbies, alike. The past two years have been a hell of a ride for Chris Vos (vox/guitar), Marc Cazorla (drums) and Alex Stiff (bass) and even if they never saw it coming, the ride was as inevitable as the stomp of Cazorla’s bass drum here in “Baby I’m Broken.” From their 2016 Grammy nominated debut album, Give It Back To You, the song’s video pretty much captures one of the things that The Record Company does best: make folks cut loose and shake their groove things. Something that – when this stellar trio throws down live – is also extremely inevitable.

They are The Record Company, they play rock n’ roll and we are so into it (insert Dio devil horns here).

The Where: The Record Company just wrapped up their road time on tour with THE John Mayer (hello!) but the boys are far from done. Check out their upcoming tour dates on their official website and if luck is swinging your way, they’ll be coming to a city near you! And, of course, you can also keep up with all things TRC via their Facebook page and at @TheRecordComp on Twitter.
