“Believer” By Imagine Dragons

The Who: Imagine Dragons (Las Vegas, NV)

The What: Dolph Lundgren. Who in their right mind would want to go toe-to-toe with that guy? He’s He-Man. The Punisher. And did we not see Rocky IV??? Pour one out for Apollo Creed.

From the safety of a metaphorical space comes this video for Imagine Dragons’ current single, “Believer.” Directed by Matt Eastin (responsible for Imagine Dragons’ “On Top of the World,” “Roots,” and “Shots [Broiler Remix]”videos), Lundgren and Imagine Dragons frontman, Dan Reynolds, trade body blows and head shots (the 1:57 minute mark…yeah, that looked like it hurt) in a futuristic space in what looks like a battle of – not just physical strength – but of will. According to Reynolds, “‘Believer’ is about finding a place of peace and self-confidence. The video depicts a man facing his inner self, the toughest critic of all, while paying homage to some of the classic movies we grew up with.”

Oh yes, the Tron is strong.

And as for as for the sketched image/symbol on Reynolds’ chest? I guess we’ll just have to stand by for further…

The Where: As always, Imagine Dragons are easy to find, follow and keep up with via their official website, Facebook page and at @ImagineDragons on Twitter.
