The Who: Spirit Animal (Brooklyn, NY)
The What: Fresh from making friends and musically influencing people at South By Southwest (see HERE for further), Spirit Animal have dropped a music video that may very well be the sum total of what the band is all about. In this video for “Regular World” Steve Cooper, Ronen Evron, Paul Michel, and Cal Stamp aim their rock n’ roll at challenging the norms of regular with the desire to take the risk to be more than just someone. Director Shal Ngo gives us focus groups, visual aids, a graph measuring Fleekness and, at the end of it all, Spirit Animal definitely prove that they’re someone.
