Show Your Colors is the title of Genevieve’s (formerly of Company of Thieves) debut EP as a solo artist: a title that is profoundly on point and not just because of the color of her hair. Making her very first appearance on the legendary stage of the Roxy (opening for the Brooklyn, NY band MOTHXR), Genevieve made easy work of engaging the Monday night crowd. Gently animated, her body’s movements were equal parts womanly sensual and playfully childlike, while her impressive and expressive voice acted as the conduit for her songs, all lyrically attentive to love and life and showing your colors, whatever they may be.
