It was a dream come true for Sherlock fans attending Baker Street Babes annual SherlockeDCC event in San Diego when Creator/Writer/Producer Steven Moffat & Producer Sue Vertue crashed the sold out event. It’s not often you get the opportunity to interact with the creative genius behind such a beloved show. That’s what made it extra special when Steven & Sue allowed a roughly 20 minute Q&A at the event.
Sure, fans are given an opportunity to ask questions during official Comic Con panels too but those questions are often screened and there’s maybe time for 2-4 questions. At SherlockeDCC it felt like everyone had a chance to have their voice/question heard. Questions like “What will happen when the writers finally exhaust all of Arthur Conan Doyle‘s stories?,” “When will be meet the other Holmes brother?” and more were thrown out.
While we weren’t able to capture the full Q&A on video, we at least got these two anecdotes for your amusement. We hope it holds you Sherlockian’s over until the new Victorian special is released, sometime, maybe next year, possibly in select theaters, hopefully.
