The What: His groove is labeled as “gangsta-rock” and his 2011 debut album, Old Tyme Religion on RocNation had a bluegrass stomp cover of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” that put him on the map. We’re talking about Hugo. His sophomore release, Deep in the Long Grass, is Hugo digging further into all of the genres that he, himself, digs: hip hop, rock, electronic, blues and country. As for “Twitch And Tug”? Well, it’s bluegrass to the core.
