The Who: Dreaming Bull
The What: Oh you know: just an average trip to visit grandma at the retirement home turning into a raucous dance party because…why not? Aussie Nic Capelle and LA native Gabe Rowland conceived Dreaming Bull in all of its brash and contemporarily vintage glory and are no strangers to throwing down on stage. Here Orange Is the New Black‘s Taryn Manning gets funky and the party started but the Los Angeles soul/blues/jazz-infused garage rockers finish it in “Smile On Your Face” (from their release, DB EP) when they haul their gear into the joint and give the resident seniors a few reasons to crack a grin and shake some body parts. Just goes to show that you’re never too old to get a piece. A piece of what, you ask? Life, people. Get your minds out of the gutter.
