“If you don’t like Rivals Sons, you have no soul.”
That’s a tweet that I read yesterday and I’m hard pressed to argue with the sentiment.
L.A. blues rockers Rival Sons (Jay Buchanan-vocals, Scott Holiday-guitar, Robin Everhart-bass, Michael Miley-drums) are riding high and hard on the release of their second full length LP Pressure & Time, an album that is solidly in your face with its ode to the urge to boogie and rock simultaneously like it was 1972. Case in point, here’s their latest and stylish video for the track All Over The Road directed by Greg Ephraim.
Hot girls, hot car, an express lane through outer space, and visions of Queen are the basic elements to a Rival Sons good time. The boys are still on the road in the U.S. with Evanescence (no that’s not a typo) for these dates:
