Will.I.Am sampled everything from Weezer to Michael Jackson, Calvin Harris, Beastie Boys, Afrojack, The Doors, Damian Marley and more; plus mashups for Black Eyed Peas — mixing the old with the new. Not knowing what to expect, I was very impressed. The crowd was jumping barricades to get to the coliseum floor and before you knew it, the music stopped. Will.I.Am proceeded to ask everyone to be civilized and also thankful they're here at EDC — the masses responded and so the music continued. Party on.
Benny Benassi is currently killing it in the coliseum as I await Sasha. Later tonight is Duck Sauce's festival premiere directly followed by MSTRKRFT!
