YESTERDAY WAS AWESOME. If I had to go home today, I would be totally content with everything that went down yesterday. But I have a whole week in Austin, so it can only get better.
Yesterday, I ended up seeing Ezra Furman & the Harpoons, the Von Bondies, Dan Auerbach (I somehow got really close to the stage for that; the line was massive when I arrived), and Hymns. I also ran into friends that I haven’t seen in a while, where we proceeded to hug it out a lot and agreed to randomly run in to each other all week.
So to prove that I’m not lying about all of this, photos coming soon.
I’m on my way back to the 6th street district as I type this; gonna start my day with the Ivorys at Lovejoy’s! More later . . .
